I like how the heated area was never shown again after mentioning. 👍

Measure optional, cut once and admire your mistakes

As an Aussie mechanic of 23 yrs, we do this all the time- but the honest truth about it is; You've just created a rust nightmare on that A pillar, at least the rust on the guard is easy to fix- replace the guard. But those unsealed holes in that A pillar will destroy the shell over the coming years... Our love for snorkels in Australia on our off road vehicles is a major part of the reason that old 4x4's are getting really hard to find. People just scrap then once that A pillar rots out... Don't do it if you like your vehicle guys, you'll regret it in the long run...

The hole he cut hurt my heart, such a pristine fender and it was destroyed in a matter of seconds 😭

It takes alot more than just adding something to prevent your vehicle from choking to make a vehicle aquatic... What about the fuse box, wires, electical harness, the battery, etc... The exposed bare meta, the AC, the areas where air enter and exit the vehicle, etc.

Remember if you're differential breathers and all the other air breathers and or vent tubes in your vehicle aren't tied into this it doesn't do much good when you go underwater

I know that feeling. I had to cut three holes on the side of my Transit van conversion with a hole saw for shore power and hose connections AND a 14" hole in the roof for a vent with a metal cutting jigsaw. Good times!

There's no other feeling like taking a super hot v8 into an immediate quench and then realizing you caused the metal to warp from Hyper cooling the metal to quick.

Definitely a better salesman than a craftsman.
