Red River Rock (The Ventures)

Here is my cover of The Ventures' recording of Red River Rock, based on the Red River Valley and also played by Johnny and the Hurricanes. I'm playing a 2014 Classic Player Jazzmaster through Logic Pro amp modelling. Like, subscribe, and hit the bell! :)

Great choice, always great to hear you play and watch the number/notes follow along in The Ventures style. This reminds me of 'Mexican Hat Dance' by The Apple Jacks('58).

*(I did not know it was from North of the border) "Red River Valley” is a traditional western folk song, and probably originated in Canada sometime around 1879. Speculation on the impetus of the song focuses on the Wolseley Expedition to the northern Red River Valley of Manitoba in 1870.
