breasts and eggs is such an important book imo...her work is incredible!! she's such a great writer and also quite critical of murakami and questioned his depiction on women as well!!

Haa.. I was just binge watching your previous videos this afternoon, and you uploaded again!! Gonna get comfy and enjoy this as a treat to end my day.
I read "Breast and Eggs" back in March, but I definitely feel it's a summer read the whole book has that vibe, I absolutely loved this book it was my first read of Mieko's work as well and I loved and really resonated with the conversations among the characters.
I hope it's a good read for you as well !

So pleased YouTube popped your channel in my suggested feed, though also feel bad I am late to the party... means I have lots of videos to go back to. Woohoo. The Murakami tea and shade, hahaha. I did love Kafka on the Shore, that was my first of his book. Also, and possibly even more impiortant than the books (I know, imagine) loved all the cat snapshots. Can't wait to watch more.

I've read "Norwegian wood " last summer, and I also went in a session with other readers to talk about it. Withhaving all the female issues, as we all were females, we enjoyed the experience of reading it. Don't be scared of his writing and you'll be feelings deep emotions:)) I've also read "First person singular" and it was fun as well.
