Albania has arrested seven people for attempted break-ins at two military plants. Two Russians and a Ukrainian were arrested at the Gramsh plant in southern Albanian that once produced AK-47s and dismantled derelict weapons. Some 90 km away, four Czech nationals were held at another defunct weapons factory in Polican. The accused are suspected of espionage, but have reportedly told authorities they were visiting Albania as bloggers and tourists.
