This is a video that highlights strong to severe thunderstorm that evolved into a severe microburst as the thunderstorm rapidly moved into the area. This particularly severe microburst caused a lot of damage locally in this general area among the severe thunderstorm cluster that affected this afternoon, mostly in terms of falling tree branches and displaced rooftop shingles. The high winds from this severe thunderstorm, as was the local flooding that came from the heavy rainfall, created hazardous conditions locally. The thunder sounds were loud during this microburst at times, as was the lightning that struck frequently close during this severe thunderstorm altogether.
