Ed Piskor, which another commenter mentioned, is the perfect example of what JDA was talking about. Ed got canceled over some inappropriate conversations with a 17 year old female. Gaiman put his hands on any female who couldn't outrun him. He was smart enough to make sure they were all over 18, but it's still worse than Piskor's behavior.
Ed didn't have the financial resources to buy his way out of cancellation. He didn't have corporations who'd invested millions of dollars in him. All Ed had was his Cartoonist Kayfabe youtube channel, which he got pushed out of.

I actually really enjoyed the original book, so we'll have to disagree on that one, but I deeply disliked the adaptation of it, and after looking at the trailers for this continuation I had no interest. Without Pratchett it's not worthwhile. Plus at this point I don't want to support anything with which he's involved.

Amazon scrapped his original scripts and hes off project he has no credit not even as producer

Rob Wilkins, a friend of Terry Pratchett and Rhianna Pratchett (Terry’s Daughter ) have taken over and they compromised for a 90 minute special

They seem to want to just put Terry's ending on screen since a book is unlikely but im hoping that Rob, Rhianna and the Pratchett estate will buy the property back
