Nice one again! By complete coincidence I was looking into the difference between a center diff and a slipper clutch about 30 mons before your release (still kinda new to the rc hobby). Good to see it's a easy change. Considering it for our rustler, slash and stoss

Great vid. I need to get this for my Rally that I put a Maxx 4s motor and ESC in. I had the old center diff in it that was flat and an Integy motor mount brace. Thanks again. I won't need the aluminum center diff bearing upgrade with this either. This ought to serve me well on 3s.

I have had a blast with my BL-2S Slash 4x4. The fact that it already comes stock with the HD suspension and drivetrain components is a huge benefit for upgrading the motor and esc, since it can handle alot more power with ease. Im running a Castle Copperhead esc with 1410 3800kv motor on both 2S and 3S. It's fast even on 2S, but on 3S it's an absolute beast. Haven't had any problems with the beefy plastic axles breaking, and the HD slipper clutch has held up really well. It did start slipping a little more then it should, so i bought a new, assembled clutch, not realizing till i was changing it, that it was smaller then the stock HD one. The HD one is not available assembled either, just the rebuild kit only, which is not a big deal, just was something else i discovered while doing this repair, thought it worth mentioning if anyone else needs to change theirs too 👍.

Use the louise maglev tyres they are insaneky good i race out door clay tracks with 3665 4000k max 10 hobbywing motor that thing has so much torque youbdo wheelys on the dirt with those tyres if you pin it

Ive weigted and winged my slash to cope with speeds and downforce needed to keep the car level

Was wondering if I could get a parts break down for the VXL upgrade? Things needed besides TQI the motor/esc? I am getting the transmitter and receiver, but unsure if I should get the wireless module too. Thank you! I look forward to upgrading soon.

When you say fill it up do you mean all the way? I’m new to RC differentials but with normal cars you want to leave room for thermal expansion

Did you put vxl diffs on it?? I ran mine with a hobby wing 3s set up and I melted the slipper clutch spacer and bearing to the spring, and idk if the diffs also could be damaged, I haven’t upgraded any internals other than electronics atm. Also is there a fix to my spacer melting to the spring?

i just bought one and it hits the upper part of the chassis when trying to install it

I see slme channels put 7000 in their diffs and i simply dont undersrand when i had 50k i was diffing out to the fromt like crazy

300k fixed that

So i can see how 1m works but dont jnderstand how people run 7k
