Hey chuck, I just want to let you know, about 1 or 2 years ago, I was lost with what I wanted to with life. But after watching your video and your success in network engineering, I decided to study for network+ and passed. After that, I got a job in the cybersecurity field. I started studying for AWS after watching your video and how much you emphasized the future of the cloud. Now I'm certified in aws saa, aws security, network+ and currently pursuing CCSP and CISSP. I also became inspired to go back to school! Your enthusiasm in this field rubbed off of me as well. Thanks for everything.

Awesome stuff. I think MEC is no longer called Mobile Edge Computing, but now it is Multi-access Edge Computing. A few weeks back, we deployed an MEC cloud application with AWS Wavelength for AT&T. We literally crammed the 5G User Plane Function (UPF) and the MEC cloud infra in the same data centre. Our team also deployed the 5G radio stack in the same DC. Result? All computing nodes are right at the network edge. BMW tested a self driving vehicle and they were able to achieve sub-milliseconds latency during braking performance test.

Is there anything better than randomly going to YouTube and a new NetworkChuck video just dropped XD

It seems yesterday that you had less than 50k subs, I've watched you since you were at around 15k... I'm so happy and glad you made it, I don't know you personally but you strike me as a good person.
I'm a bit jealous (in a positive way) of your success, but I wish you all the best because you do deserve all the views, the subs and every cent you can make out of this, sincerely.

The reason the AI ignored your Tesla is that they are so ubiquitous here in Dallas they become invisible

I don't quite get how you were able to make a cloud test, and a mec test. Like what software did you use to do one search vs another. ?

This was a great video thanks @NetworkChuck .
I do have a question about 5G I have seen other reports that state 5G is on hold although the technology is at the towers and companies claim to be using it ? The full potential is not yet in action ?

Have you ever noticed that all 5G television commercials are outdoors or in a stadium or similar with indoor cell antennas? Why? Because 5G cannot penetrate walls. It is high speed short distance line of sight only.
