Eridu, Iraq doesn’t exist… Eridu is located 7.5 miles southwest of costal Ur (the city from which its name derived) …in modern times considering the earths shifts, these once coastal cities are now more inland. “Eridu” is now located just outside of Basrah, Iraq before getting to Nasiriyah aka ancient Ur which is a few miles from the Euphrates river.
