NFS Carbon Tuners Are Fun - Overtaking All Bosses

After doing a dedicated playthrough with muscle cars, I now decided to do a fully tuner playthrough as well. They are also quite fun, probably more fun to drive than muscles and are still capable of overtaking all bosses if you know their weaknesses.

The hardest dude you'll ever encounter in Carbon is in quick race. Hard difficulty bot in a Corvette.

Tuner - Handling
Muscle - Acceleration
Exotics - Top Speed

That's why I love tuners, because they just slip through the corners like butter, it demands some skill to handle them. Lancer in the canyon obliterates pretty much any car if you use it in the right way.

When i was younger, i hated muscle cars for their terrible handling, but now i learned what drifting is and i beat the crap out of Wolf in Canyon with my Dodge Charger R/T in ELEVEN seconds.

The Golf and the Skyline are both of the career path exclusive cars for Tuners, as the exclusive ones are usually unlocked in Morgan Beach (for T2) and in Canmor Downs (for T3)

The make one million card was one of the toughest challenges in the game 240SX easily the best tuner of the game.

Tuners are great if you are a good driver. Had a mod that replaced WRX with a Tiburon that I used to beat Darius with it

It's a shame they didn't try to replicate the Golf R32's engine note. One of the best sounding V6 engines of all time! Love that the thing is a beast in this game though.

I sometimes think of the Golf as a tier 1 exotic, and it is always better

I am a Tuner guy when playing Carbon. I despise Exotics (except for the Carrera GT, Darius' R8, and the M3) due to lack of handling. My personal choice for me is actually the Evo since it has a lot of acceleration and top speed. Skyline is good but nothing can beat the Evo in my opinion. That beast can reach up to 233 MPH when fully upgraded and can also be used to defeat Darius during the descending part of the canyon.

I've passed NFS twice and I always bought the EVO IX at final races.
