Congratulations on 53* thousand subscribers. Thank you for showing up in my "recommended" bar :). I do not have a true idol, all the people that can actually play the guitar and create and recreate beautiful sounds are the people that I want to become part in of. Good luck to EVERYONE participating and especially to those who TRULY want a prize (including me :) )!

Thank you for your decision to be a content creator and a teacher.

No man thank you for all the lessons, tips and tricks that you give us to improve to be better guitar players!

Well the first guitar player that made me one to really play was Steve Vai, but when I got older and start learning more about music Joe Bonamassa left me with my mouth open on how fast he play and his tone, man! Feliz Navidad from Puerto Rico!

Congrats on the 50k subs! I've been with you for a while now and always liked you videos. :)

When it comes to guitar idols, I'd say Mark Holcomb from Periphery and Tosin Abasi are definitely on top of my list. I just love their style of playing the guitar and creating riffs that sound unique to me.
When it comes to the acoustic (I really need one, haha), I love way too many. But the most important ones to me are probably Jon Gomm, Andy McKee and Mike Dawes. Their playing is nothing less than amazing to my ears.

I really like the style of your presentations. You are very informative and clear. Thanks for that. I have so many guitar heroes, people that made me play early were singer/songwriters (Cat Stevens, Paul Simon, James Taylor) later on Mark Knopfler, EVH, Page, Lindsey Buckingham and so many others.

I've played guitar since I was very young. around the age of 14 is when I was first introduced to my guitar idol, Guthrie Govan. When I saw the way he played guitar I knew that's what I wanted to do with my life. There are so many inspiring musicians in the world, including you, RB. And my goal is to bring inspiration and influence into other people's lives the way all of you guys have mine.

The guitarist that inspires me is... you! It sounds lame but its actually true. Found your older video about how to shred and yeah totally transformed my playing. Before that I basically strummed chords for 20yrs. Now, I can SHRED! Well, sort of:) Also discovered Rob Chapman and Claus Levin around the same time, and you guys inspire me .

Rock on.

congratulations on the 50k, you deserved it.

I've got to admit I have multiple idols for multiple genres but to name a few; Eric Johnson, Kirk Hammett, Eric Clapton and Angus young.

Keep up the great work and keep on rocking!

Dude, that is so awesome. My favorites are Eddie Van Halen, Brent Mason, Vince Gill, and several other awesome players. But the guy I love the most and that I listen to the most on Youtube is Stevie Ray Vaughn. I love the Texas Blues guitar. Oh, I listen to everything from Bluegrass and Country to Classical and 70's Rock. I just love music. But SRV is my favorite. Thanks for the opportunity. I think the best part of the giveaway is the lessons and the lessons packs. The guitar would be awesome as well, but I really appreciate the gift of your personal time and labor. Good job.

That guitar is a looker!!!
Congrats dude! Big fan of your videos.
My idol is David Gilmore because I believe in his approach of extracting every bit of them feels from each note.

Congratz to a 50k Rob! I am happy for you, because you really deserved it..and it just begins!

There are many guitar idols of mine, but If I have to choose one - Guthrie Govan (what a easy goal to achieve..haha) and also Radim Hladík (he was incredible great guitarist from my country - Czech Republic, unfortunately passed away recently :( )

Congrats on the 50K, Robert! You've already gained 3, 000 more since then! :) Ace Frehley of KISS is the person who made me want to pick up the guitar. Unfortunately, it took me only about a year to realize he was a one-trick pony (and still is), so my admiration plummeted. But that was okay because by then I had found Robin Trower's 'Bridge of Sighs, ' and the world of the electric blues had been opened up to me.
