Thank you for the update. WPF is a great framework for desktop apps. It's good to know that Microsoft remains committed to its development.

How about adding a performant media (video and audio) control for WPF so that we don't have to depend on custom implementations or on web implementations. This has been a serious gap in the WPF space. When are you going to cover it?

I've been developing UIs with WPF for 10 years..
Sadly WPF Fluent theming is a very bad joke. For example it doesnot implement headers for ListViews and Datagrids. It's listed in the release note as done, but when you drill down it's completely experimental. So we still have to rely on 3rd party controls, even for simple apps. VERY disappointed.

How many "uh" word say in vedio?

Thanks for the update. The presentation was really hard to follow due to the speaker's thick accent and constant "uh"s.

Instead of creating all sorts of WinUI, MAUI, Uno and Avalonia, it would be better to work only on WPF, improving and optimizing it in every possible way. But after reading the comments of real developers on various resources, you only make things worse and force developers to use third-party packages to develop UI applications. Your WinUI is asking for almost 10 gigabytes to install in Studio, that's 5 times more than a normal WPF desktop app package. What is it for, why is it taking up so much space, and why is WinUI running and loading slower than a WPF app. You're just making things more complicated. Shame.

😂 The demo would've been better if given by some good WPF developer instead of the manager.
