Here is a delicious way to make French's Green Bean Casserole. I like to substitute the usual can of cream of mushroom soup for my own cream sauce. I also like to add bacon for a heartier and smokier casserole.

INGREDIENTS
2 bls fresh breen beans
1lb pack of bacon (optional)
clove of garlic
1 pint mushrooms of your choice
small onion (optional)
3 tbls rendered bacon grease (or butter/oil of your choice)
3 tbls all purpose flour
4 cups heavy cream
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
salt to taste
container of French's Crispy Fried Onions
9 x 13 baking dish
**Bake in a preheated oven @ 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 min

I made this at Thanksgiving. I never made anything like this before, I am famous in my family for setting the table and cleaning up because I thought I could not cook. Thank you for this video, my green bean casserole was a big hit and now I am making it for Christmas! My brother had two helping and said HELL YES when I asked him if he liked it. I don't think he has ever said HELL YES to anything I ever tried to grill or cook in my life LOL.

Blanching them actually helps lock in that bright green color so your green beans still look pretty. Still looks delicious

I made this dish last year for thanksgiving and nothing was left of it. It was the best dish ever! Making the same one for this Thanksgiving but in bigger quantity because I want some leftovers for myself

I made this but added cheddar cheese and made the sauce a little thicker. The sauce tasted amazing! Loved the adding of lemon pepper! Yum 🤤 I'm excited to eat it tomorrow. Thank you!

Thank you for a new version of this offer classic, that me and my family love. I made this tonight for tomorrow, I used the lemon pepper and all. Only I made my sauce a lot thicker. It tasted wonderful. Thanks again, keep up the great recipes.
