I have a question, what happens if my chapters are in Roman numerals, I, II, III, etc. But I want the figures to be listed in Arabic Figure 1.1, 1.2, etc. They told me that I have to do it with fields and SEQ but I don't quite understand how to do it

Automated figure captions do not work when numbering multilevel chapters.
Lets day my structure is:
*Chapter 1*
Figure1.1
*Chapter 1.1*
Figure 1.1.1
Figure 1.1.2
*Chapter 1.1.1*
Figure 1.1.1.1
Figure 1.1.1.2


Word is a very limited piece of software...
