Hey Gabriel, welcome to Tunisia. I am Tunisian and I have been to Djerba several times. The best beaches of the island are to be found around the area of MIDOUN and more specifically the ZONE TOURISTIQUE where you can also find most hotels, restaurants, clubs and cafés... Enjoy

Hi Gabriel! Thank you for another nice video.A small info about Djerba.According to the ancient greek historians Polybius and Strabo, Djerba (ancient Meninx) was inhabited by the lotus-eaters, a group of people also mentioned in Homer's Odyssey.

Gabe, you are one of the few vloggers here that presents quality content. You pay attention to details, your close-ups etc. A joy to watch... I discovered you little late but, I have plenty of time to watch all of your travels. Thank you. 🥰

Love that a lot of locals actually seem to shop at this souk and as Gabe mentioned no hustlers. Makes it so much more inviting and authentic and not a place where you have the feeling everybody is just trying to rip you off. Some places looked so classical North African it felt like you were on an Aladdin movie set or something, simply amazing! What a difference it makes to for example the experience in Morocco, when you actually get to enjoy the place and take it all in on your own terms.

So beautiful and atmospheric! I knew that it was the island of Lotus Eaters, but it never crossed me to look at its current state! I certainly didn't imagine it like that! Thank you Gabriel for your videos! And also a big thanks to your followers who take the time to comment!

Been following your adventures for years Gabriel. I have been all over Northern Tunisia, best way to travel is the Louage, the shared minibuses that the locals use. They are great way to see the country and meet people. We are going to Djerba in February 2025 it will be our base to explore the south. If your watching and reading this thinking of going to Tunisia, go Tunisian people are super friendly there is loads to see and do and if your from Europe or the US it's easy on the pocket!

Very cool! Tunisia is definitely on my list, I might do some north Africa this winter. I am currently in Romania, based in Cluj for a few more weeks, had to step out of the schengen for a while. Then heading to Italy!

I lived Tunisia when I was little. My dad was in the military and was working at the American embassy. What I remember most was the stink of a river in the summer it was so bad.

I'm happy that you're using the DJI Osmo Action again. The color is much richer and better than the other brand. In fact, you're the inspiration behind me using the Osmo Action as well. Safe travels...
