I know that there are a lot of people who don't know about this, but the reason for Olaf's cloud disappearance is in the official Frozen comics from Disney, and that story was divided into two parts. I was told that the reason they had him no longer have it in the sequel was to save on their animation budget (Not saying there's anything wrong with that, it's not like that animation is exactly NEEDED). I can't remember where I heard this information, I think it might have been from the Nostalgia Critic's review of it.
