What is adhoc testing?
Impromptu is a synonym for Adhoc, which means anything that is done without being planned, organized, or rehearsed.

In software testing, adhoc testing is testing an application randomly by using logical or illogical scenarios and check whether the application has any bugs or not. The primary goal of Adhoc testing is to break the software application by any means.

It is a negative and unplanned testing. As a result, it doesn't have any sort of documentation to be followed.

Bug bounty programs are the best examples for Adhoc testing.

Adhoc testing can be classified into three further types: Buddy Testing, Pair Testing, Monkey or Gorilla Testing.
