Long Cross Country Flight on a Cirrus SR20 from Addison, TX to Odessa, TX (KADS to KODO) with my friend Ariel who is now a commercial pilot. We were planning on heading out to Houston but weather changed and we decided on going west instead. This is a 2 part video detailing the experience which was awesome. We depart out of Addison and climb to 4500 to cross over DFW. You will see the DFW airport right after departure.
Flight altitude 8500 enroute to Odessa and we come in high so I had to do a forward slip to land at KODO. At the FBO they give us a crew car and we go grab some BBQ and check out the local petroleum museum. Make sure you watch both videos to experience the entire trip.
