Hi, thank you for the detailed tutorial. That really helps a lot. Somehow, I am looking for a function allowing each image shown in one page with caption, description, and even tags so people can easily find the images they want. This function does not seem to be part of this plugin.

Hi Alex, thank you so much for taking the time to teach us about galleries it's really meant a lot to me. We used a WordPress site to build our customized webpage. I have one question: do all of my pictures have to be in my "media gallery" before they will be available to "NextGEN plug-in" galleries? I previously was using galleries in another format and so I have lots of pictures that are having a hard time loading into the NextGEN plug-in. So I was going to upload them straight into a new gallery from my laptop. Are you telling me I have to load them into the media gallery before they are available to the NextGEN galleries? Or can I just upload them directly from my computer into a NextGEN gallery and they will be available on my webpage? I also have parent pages which makes this more difficult. I have tried to upload NextGEN gallery page and used a parent page called photo gallery, and it's not showing up. I really appreciate you. Thank you for your time and help, Cyndi

Hi, thank you for that great tutorial, it is so detailed and helpful. I wonder do you know if you have an Album and there are 6 Galleries all made with NG, is there a option in any Gallery to have a Filter for the images inside. No matter that will be with other plugin or other way. Best Regards!

Can I get the Portfolio Gallery Theme, they've removed it, the one on their website is not like this and charges. Alternative, any theme or plugin to enable filter, currently using NextGen and that feature is lacking.
