Rocklin Unified Teacher's Troubling Tweets Resurface

The Rocklin Unified School District was aware of tweets that had an allegedly derogatory tone, made by a current staff member, before they were employed by RUSD, at the beginning of the year. The staff member is still employed and a RUSD spokesperson said there was an investigation and “appropriate action was taken.”

Student here. I saw the teacher today and he said he takes full responsibility for what he's done, saying he was in a low place in his life when he posted the tweet and that he regrets it. He takes full accountability for what he's done. He's a really nice guy; when I first heard that he was the teacher here I didn't believe it until he told me himself.

In one of his extra help classes and he does not do his job correctly. He makes us feel stupid for asking questions, he yells at us everyday if we ask him questions. Hes genuinely mad that we dont know the material instead of helping us he just loses his shit on us. Very unhappy with this teacher and I hope he will get the consequences that come from his actions

People learn as they grow up, these parents are probably from the Bay Area and just looking for drama .

Just for anything looking for the real news. Anything you said or did 9 years ago you will be labeled as that for ever. Not even if you changed or said out context or kidding. Just remember if anyone finds something bad 9 years ago they will hold you responsible for that at the present time.
