The greedy monopoly is heinous, but buying a house should not be so hard. Yes the crash was uncalled for and the banks made it ridiculously complicated, but this should be just a normall thing. Your hair looks awesome!

Private equity firms are resposible for a lot of the mess here in California. The banks sold them 150 properties at a time during the finacial crisis starting in 08. Our real estate shows were on the radio back then telling us we could not buy here in California at a decent price. We had to wait till the equity firm flipped the house at a higher price and hope we can affored it. (you tube wasn't as big back then) And of course this housing crisis caused a lot of the homeless situation here because people stayed in affordable apartments (we have rent control here) instead of buying a house. That left a lot of former small homeowners who lost their houses looking for affordable housing on the street. We had families on the street for years, still have some, . Kids were going to school while being homeless.
