This guy is the most industrious and creative youtuber i've ever seen. And love his accent, but as hard as i try i just can't mimic him.

Your early comments about adding "badness" to make it sound interesting... I remember way back when (80s, 90s as a Yoof wet behind the ears!) - I wrote games for 8 & 16-bit computers. That included programming a "musak / SFX" system handed over to those expert at actually "makeing" the music and Sound effects etc...
I remember finding a horrid "bug" in the music engine and "fixing" it... Then all the musicians complained - "accidentally" they were USING that "feature" to make interesting sounds! Had to "restore" and "document" the "bug" as a "feature" :D

In jalisco last year we built a bio mechanical synth from snails, bones and meth. We used it in the recent mexican elections and will be selling them soon.

I appreciate this very much. I really enjoyed Colin's lab video on the apc but it's so edited and stuff that I just couldn't seem to pull off what he did. And I've gotten many different results based on tons of different tutorials and schematics. This looks like I can get it down no problem by following along.

this man's ADHD is strangely an inspiration. I love watching people WAY smarter than me and allowing myself to think, "yeah, I understand this..."

the soldering iron tips will last longer if you don't clean them off after the solder. You should clean it before soldering and leave it smoking in the holder, then the tin protects the tip from the air.

I have found a place online to see copies of old issues of Practical Electronics and such. I saw some of your other builds based off of old magazines. You have got me wanting to build sooo much stuff. I don't understand coding too much so I was looking for magazines from the 60's and 70's and they have simple circuits all the way up to rhythm machines and sequencers with keyboards. They have all the parts lists and everything. Even found a circuit for Sonic Fish Bait.

You are correct that PAT testing is not a legal requirement, and is only needed on portable mains appliances
However it is strongly recommended for health and safety, if your appliances are tested, it shows you are being a responsible person if something should go wrong (if an appliance catches fire and you have the right size fuse and the cord is in good condition, it's unlikely you will be prosecuted for example)
It might also be a way to get cheaper insurance
It's one of the things i used to do where i worked, i've tested thousands of appliances. (large lab and farm site)

Builds of kind of crazy technology contraptions... drifts back and forth in time... I'm now convinced you are a time traveler trying to build a time machine to get out of this timeline. I'd like to think Gallifreyan Time Lords, but who knows.
Or, you're just a creative person that will build a time machine by accident. COuld be more fun, or more catastrophic that way.
XD

You’re right about the arm list...although having a inverting opamp tattooed on my arm (among other things) also has it’s advantages 😂
