The 360CS is the one you really want, the 458 Speciale is the one you should really have. The 430 Scuderia is the best of both worlds and is the one you should really buy.

As a Scuderia and Speciale owner, I think this sums up almost perfectly the differences between them. I just need to add that CS, something I never did because of the gearbox and lack of power... Please do the same type of content for the GT3 RS lineage.

Strad, Scud.. sure. But for the love of God, never refer to a Speciale as a "Spesh" ever again. 🤣

I’ve had my Strad for over 10 years and it still thrills like the first time I drove it; uncompromising, uncomfortable, antisocial, insanely loud and I love it. If you really want to I lease the sound, disconnect the valves, it’s unbelievable. No real interest in the newer models that are compromised by legislation to some degree. It sits alongside a 308 which offers a completely different driving experience. They’re 20 years apart and the progress in that time is remarkable.

I had the 458 Speciale and 430 Scuderia for over 2 years in my collection. I found myself pick up the keys of the 430 Scuderia everytime i wanted to enjoy a weekend drive, not the Speciale. The Scudaria i call it party on wheels and provides me with a proper Modern Classic Ferrari experience, the rawness, tranmission and noise just adds to the drama. The 458 Speciale is better in every way, but it just loses in terms of emotions compared to the Scudaria. If i can only have one sportscar in my Garage and it had to be a Ferrari, a 458 Speicale is the one i would pick, but if i had a stable of sportscars like i do, i would pick the 430 Scuderia every time. Now i kept the 430 Scuderia only along with my other sportscars and the Speciale is gone and believe it or not, I don’t miss the 458 Speciale.

7:25 sums it up. And Chris Harris chose the Scud from this line up including the Pista. Scud gives you the supercar performance, but still retains some rawness.

I think the Scuderia is the best car for the money. More visceral, raw energy but not as “old” as the CS.. I thing the best V8 Ferrari has ever made. ❤

Forgetting sound, gearboxes etc etc, for me the Speciale is just spectacularly good looking, it doesn’t have a bad angle, it’s a masterpiece and deserves to command the respect it’s given and therefore it’s price tag, I do agree tho, the others should be priced higher as they are 3 iconic cars

I think the major take away from this is to do a Capristo exhaust on the scud and a novitec exhaust on the speciale so it'll be somewhat screaming like the CS...

I think I'd take all 3 over any of the new Ferrari

So reading between the lines, the scud is the best of the 3 by blending driving engagement and refinement

Definitely the Scud, as for those drone shots!!! 👌🏾🙌🏾

If I could only have one, I would take the Scud...!

458 Speciale is in my opinion, the best option; a) performance, b) design (best future aging potential), c) ROI on your hefty investment, d) gear box… The other two options are spectacular options and there are no losers. PS - I own a Speciale so I am biased.

Brilliant videos chaps thanks a lot!
I imported my CS 10years ago from Italy and it’s now done 85k km, my best mate and I bought a Speciale between us and have put over 10k miles in it in the last 3 years - we enjoy both on road trips across Europe and in Wales, you’ve summed them up perfectly…..thanks though now I think I need a Scud 😂

I’ve had my Scud for 10 years now and chose it over the other 2 as a better blend of old & new school. What helps with its usability is the bumpy road mode which was something M Schumacher insisted on, and is now on every model. The CS is very bumpy in Race mode by comparison. The Speciale is too polished for me. I did a 2500 mile road trip in the Scud last year and it was epic.

Watched both episodes and I think all the comments are just spot on. The Scud 16m can provide the open top thrills of the Aperta for 1/2 the price, and the scud noise top down is unique and addictive. It should be noted too that an Aperta will cost north of £ 700k; the CS £ 200k and the Scud £ 180k ….. (a coupe Speciale £ 330k) and a Scud 16m £ 350k (only 499 in the world) … the Scud looks good value (relatively I know) in both guises !!!! Whichever you have, they are all Ferrari perfection

I have a Speciale and I drive it in Race mode, manual shifting with bumpy road mode on. It’s a mega experience every time I drive it. For the sound and more raw experience however, I have always wanted to add a CS to the collection and this video is a good reminder to resume my search. Thanks guys, great video.
