It's one of the fastest-growing Christian denominations in the world—the Seventh-day Adventist Church. But even as Adventists grow in influence and public awareness, especially recently, not much is known and many myths and legends about them abound. Pastor Doug Batchelor "clears the air" in this special video presentation.

I've recently started my walk with God. I must admit I'm a little nervous. But I am determined to do right by my creator. Pls pray for me. 🙏🏾

I'm glad I found this video, I grew up in a Baptist Church but since I've moved far from home and started studying in my own I realize that what I believe the Bible says has some differences in what the Baptist Church teaches. Not to say anything against my Baptist brothers and sisters whom I love but I will be looking to attend a Seventh Day Adventist Church. I've been feeling very strongly about the Saturday Sabbath.

Through the faithful service of the people of Amazingfacts the Lord brought me to the Bible truth to get my family and myself ready to meet Him when He comes:)

I grew up in a Catholic home and met sda people I thought at first they were cult coz they do gathering at home and did some talk and kneeling which we never did at home so it something weird for me that time. And started learning those gathering called worship and bible study. Learned about sabbath, food, tithes, prohibited worshiping images and second coming of Christ. Learned to differentiate church tradition and the commandments of God. Learned taking care of your health is a spiritual
matter. And now I’m proud to be a seventh day Adventist. 💕

When opening the Word of God, always ask the Holy Spirit to be with you, so you can understand the word of God. With out the Spirit you can not interpret the Word correctly. Pastor Doug, keep sharing the Gospel. Keeping you all in prayer.

Thank you, Pastor, I remember listening to you years ago, and always enjoyed your teaching. Now I am learning about the church and attending the SDA church in my town, and I am loving it. I hope to join in in the near future, God willing. Thank you, for your really helpful teachings, thank you.

I've been to a lot of different churches and denominations through the years. I stopped going completely probably about ten years ago, I just couldn't seem to find what I was looking for. Several months ago I came across Pastor Doug in the online free bible study courses, I was really enjoying those lessons. I was probably more than half way through before I learned that this was a SDA pastor and course and I'm thinking oh no, but, I have no regrets. Actually, I believe through much prayer and searching that God most likely lead me to these lessons and Pastor Doug. I think that it is the first time that I have really understood and enjoyed the Bible as much as I have and most of all, there was no doctrine, just Bible. I Have since come across several other SDA pastors... Professor Walter Vieth, Pastor Mark Fox, I listen to a couple of other pastors that I have found on the internet that teach without the ear candy but, I enjoy the above mentioned pastors most.

My uncle just switch to seven day Adventist I'm pretty sure I've been wrestling with it four awhile we've been going to a Christian church but the evidence of the Sabbath being a Saturday is to compelling and after this video I'm really considering finding a seven day Adventist church I realize that we are all saved but I want to find the truest form of God's word I do read my Bible for myself but I enjoy hearing preachers who studied their Bible more than I do. Thanks for sharing this video

I am a proud Seventh-Day Adventist. I want to share my thoughts as to what has been going on in the comments speaking about how SDA is a cult and other things. I will do my best to be clear and concise about what I have to say.

God is a loving God. He is a perfect being who created perfect people who have fallen because of Satan's misleading. We are no longer a perfect people (Isaiah 64:6). Seventh-Day Adventist are not perfect people. Our interpretation of message comes from a perfect God. God and God alone is what we base our faith on. We do our best (and I advise you as well) to study your bible for yourself from start to finish. If you give your all to him and study with an open heart, you will find the answers God wants you to have (Matthew 7:7).

SDA has always advised me to study for myself: to read the bible for myself and pray that God gives me a good understanding of his word.
While some SDA rely heavily on the writing of Ellen G. White, not all do! I, myself, do not study the works of Ellen G. White. I study the bible and the bible alone is what I base my participation within the SDA church on.

I plead you, whatever denomination you are to study the bible for yourself. Come to your own understanding and follow it 100%.

I will end with this:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
