A job interview is just you giving a sales pitch. It's all about charisma.

I am an operating room nurse trying to return to work after 7 years of taking care of my autistic soon. I asked to job shadow in a couple of locations and one hiring manager showed interest in me. I have been following your interview tips for over 4 months while getting ready for possible interview. Just 1 hour ago, HR called and offered me a full-time job, discussed salary and next week they will proceed with background check. They have also mentioned my start date. They didn’t mention anything about further interview🤷‍♀️ I am so excited but I just feel this is different. Are there jobs without elaborate interviews? Hey I am not complaining though, because I get really nervous in interviews and that’s why I have been listening to Don everyday.

I see people who are bland and uninspiring getting jobs- I doubt they turn into a Russell Brand during their interview. Some interviewers are threatened by someone who has an actual personality and diverse set of interests. Seems many workplaces I'm encountering are being stifled due to the current popular culture of being afraid of 'saying the wrong thing'.
