Chocolat is pronounced "shocolar" - don't say the t at the end. City break - suggest Montpelier in the South of France. Easy to get to from Stansted and there is a fabulous area called Place de la Comédie ( a big square, very French!!) and fantastic shopping at Polygone (Lakeside but smaller). Trams to get around and great night life. If you're going on your own though maybe stay in the UK for your first trip. Suggest Edinburgh for that, easy on the train from London.

For a city break, I would 100% recommend Budapest. It has lots of historical areas but everything is not too expensive and everywhere is beautiful

City break idea: Galway (West of Ireland). Way nicer than Dublin and much cheaper!
