Me personally, I use my MacBook purely for art/artistic projects, whether it’s 3d rendering or design. Everything else is on my PC

Honestly that’s pretty much exactly my plan with things, keeping it separate is nice. Also stops the temptation to game while working on other things

Both are optimized for different types of programs and work in tandem I love seeing the inclusion of Mac and PC in setups

better answer: because it has hardware accelerators for video/encode and its nice to take your laptop anywhere you go/your setup. but the hardware accelerators might actually be faster than the gaming pcs.

I use windows for more heavy tasks, but my macbook is for when i go to a coffee shop and i need to do a small word/excel document

I have the M1 Max and use it for graphic design. And have a dedicated gaming pc that costs way more. The portability is a huge factor especially when it can render faster than the 4090

macbook pro is not only a powerhouse computer but the pro applications just make it so much easier to use, only thing that sucks is the price tag

The Mac screen has a nice color calibration, so for content creators it plays a huge part

I use Windows at work but when I want to do serious and worthwhile work, I use a Mac… for entertainment, I use Linux.

I don’t use Windows at the house.
