Hey guys. First of all, your editing has improved again. I really liked the intro. Now for the van, I really like that it is looking like a sprinter, and things such as the charge point, located behind the badge. The way it delivers its power also seems stress-free, which is ideal for me. I would deffo consider one of these if I was in an electric friendly country (which Russian isn't bothered too much about yet). cheers.

I totally agree. There is a school.of thought that thinks that EVs should look different and a bit bonkers but I think the more like the petrol/ diesel alternative they are, the less wary people are of them. Hence I really like the MG5.

The difference between modes can be quite marked too. I remember taking a Gen 1 Leaf out of Economy mode and it felt like I'd just chucked 5 concrete slabs out of the back. The difference was amazing.

A most enjoyable review

How is the music sound in E Sprinter? Does it have good sound system? How is the noise insulation? Can you compare it to gas Sprinter? Is there Apple CarPlay? Thanks

@1:15, “ it got 96 mile range....” yeah, with a tail wind. EV driver has range anxiety. When the battery is down to 25% capacity, the driver is feverishly looking for a full charge. And headlights, wipers, AC/heater, accessories and radio also drain battery. Heavy load makes the motor work harder, too. The real working range is about 60 miles — just barely enough for one service call and then head back to home charger or public charger. What tradesman can earn a living doing one service call per day? MB wants to play the numbers game using the sprinter ‘s battery capacity: 75, 85, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200 kWh. It’s the same game MB plays with its ICE vehicles: 500S, 500SL, 500SEL, 420, 460, 550, 550AMG, 320 CL, 320CLS, 600, 320E, 320SE. The MB e-citera truck is powered by a 480kwh battery. Why not a 200kwh battery for the e-sprinter? MB is Screwing the consumer, squeeze his pocket book.

I'd want one but don't think they make them for USA 😕 Looked all over.... Think I'll have to wait for Ford E-Transit. There is a converted electric promaster here in USA via Zenith Motors but they want 100k. It's cheaper to get an electric truck and a tow camper for half that. All the best cars are there in Europe 😔

platform is great but needs a 70kwh battery with only 35/47 kwh packages it is subpar in todays standards especially for the price a 60k usd 82kwh pack is needed for most opperations

Too bad that it's narrow. Would it be amazing if it was 2, 50 meter wide?

Mercedes is messing up. 85 mile range? No one will buy that in the states. We need 350+ miles on a charge

That van is an absolute joke, 90 odd miles per full charge, loaded and cold it be down to say 70 miles maximum, and it's £52, 000 WOW, I have a Mercedes sprinter 70 plate diesel i bought new what i bought with my own money and it was over £23, 000 cheaper, One thing for sure if you buy one you'll end up fit as a fiddle with all walking you'd have to do, oh yeah and be skint
