In this video I narrate a short tour of some very special property on Mt Zion in Jerusalem. I recorded this today--July 27, 2024--marking my 75th trip to this city upon which I have centered much of my textual and archaeological research.

On this 10 day personal trip I did three days of filming for a future TV program and have made some really significant discoveries that I will be sharing in the future.

Here is the article on Mt Zion that I mention in the video--you can download the PDF if you are interested.

I invite you to join my Tabor Research Community for lots more, discussions, my responses to messages, a monthly Zoom meetings, and a fantastic and diverse group of historically oriented students of the Bible:

I have a white and yellow flower from this field from your 2023 tour. It sits proudly displayed on my piano, still full of colour and housed in the Blossoming Rose lanyard. This is an important connection for me to Jerusalem.

Thank you for showing me the mikvah and be sure to go to the tower of David and look down at the courtyard and the mikvah to see the distance between the two. When you do this now you're looking at the first Temple.

Holy cow, 75 flights! I’m feeling a tiny panic attack just imagining that much time in an airplane.

Wow! Really good info especially noted for your 75th trip how close the Talpiot Tombs are to Mount Zion ! I think if you don’t make it as a Biblical Scholar you’ll certainly make it as a Videographer! 😃😍

The professor in Charlotte is quoting Robert Burns (and so was John Steinbeck) "To a Mouse" On Turning Up Her Nest With the Plough. One of Ayrshire`s finest, hailing from my locality. Scotland`s bard ! God bless.
