How to Install Ubuntu 16.04 with Windows 10 in Dual boot

If you're doing this because your Windows system is damaged and internal Windows repair fails (Cannot repair disk message), then is it possible to create a partition (1st step) using Ubuntu disk instead of the Windows partition process? I want to retain my files from Windows and use the Ubuntu system.

very nice tutorial, thanks very much for sharing. I do have a problem thoug, the grub can't not be installed, and the installation was crashed right after 90% installation was completed and after getting an error message regarding system will not boot without the grub; however I do get to enter the home page with all the bits working. Please provide some insight on this, thanks again.
