When will the press start asking questions about how this fire above Detroit Lake was allowed to burn for 2 days when the winds were being predicted? Why didnt the state and Forest Service request more help from other agencies sooner? Why was the states fire marshall dismissed? Why was the incident command changed in the middle of this disaster? Why didnt the governor activate the national guard immediately? Where were the air assets that Oregon has for fire fighting? Why was there not a plan to shut down the grid when the winds hit? There are people in fire fighting business that are very troubled over how things were handled. Maybe theres at least one journalist left to ask these questions?
