Dr. Elizabeth (Lisa) Swanson MD, FAAD is dual board certified in dermatology AND pediatric dermatology. She moved to Idaho in 2020 to become the first and only pediatric dermatologist in the state of Idaho!
While she is adept at treating patients of all ages, Dr Swanson’s passion is pediatric dermatology. She is happiest when her clinic is full of babies, toddlers, little kids and teenagers.
After medical school at Tulane University, Dr Swanson did her dermatology residency at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, followed by a pediatric dermatology fellowship at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Dr Swanson is an active lecturer at national conferences discussing pediatric dermatology with clinical audiences across the country. Prior to moving to Idaho, she practiced in Colorado for 10 years and was selected as a “Top Doc” by 5280 magazine every year from 2012-2020. She is also very active in health care advocacy and is currently president of the Boise Valley Derm Society and sits on the board of the Idaho Medical Association.
Dr Swanson loves sports and likes to spend her free time hiking, skiing, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family, friends and her 2 dogs.
Dr Swanson can be seen at all three of our Idaho locations in SE Boise, NW Meridian and SW Meridian, Idaho.
