Using the Riffmaster WIRED (No Mods!)

Yes, it's true. It's actually not clickbait.

Someone on Reddit by the name of u/TheTrikeyMan found out that by holding down all five frets on a PS5 Riffmaster while plugging it into a PC, it enters a sort of 'dev mode' state. In this state, it acts like a generic Xbox 360 controller and can be used as such in any games that support the controller.

That's amazing news! But be warned, there are some downsides to it. Stay tuned and I'll let you know!

My riffmaster came without the dongle. Got two replacements, neither worked (both were borked, DOA, lmao) BUT IT WORKS WIRED!!! so f-ing gooood <3

Does anyone know if this works on PS5? So i can use it wired on the console and not PC.
Or any ither solutions to connect it to a PS5 without a dongle?
My riffmaster dongle broke and i cant get a replacement shipped to the UK.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
