You could obviously tell that Mr. Winters was grieving about his wife of 60 years. No matter what one has accomplished in life, getting old and sick is a sad way for a person who has given so much to the enjoyment of others to spend their final years.

I never knew my dad but as I grew up I loved the beatles and played the guitar and I love Jonathan Winters as a kid ..Mom noticed my love of the beatles and Jonathan .. As I listen to Johnathan Winters, what's interesting about his career is that while he had to fight with nightclub owners to be heard, because he kept his act clean, he did what all the others couldn't do and that is get onto national television and make a name for himself. No one remembers the ones who cussed and swore, but Johnathan will be remembered by the world, especially thanks to YouTube, because he kept his act clean. He lifted everyone up in laughter where ever he appeared.
