Nog beating the Kobayashi Maru by negotiating until the system crashed should've been in this. Inexcusable.

Morn had his genetic code altered to make him appear human. He then used the slingshot effect to go
back into Earth's past. He was last seen on Earth lounging on a stool at a local bar in Boston called " CHEERS ".
Oh and he changed his name to Norm so no one from the future could find him.

I feel like Sisko returning after only 8-9 months kinda diminishes his sacrifice. I thought he'd be gone for at least 5-10 years.

Also, it sure brings a tear to my eye hearing Nog archived great things and lived up to his destiny as a great man and great Ferengi.

"O'Brian to Sisko"
"Go Ahead"
"Permission to leave the station?"
"For what reason?"
"To give the Dominion back their bomb"
"....Permission granted..."

I think I remember an interview from Avery Brooks being against the ending of DS9 for the purpose of he thought it was important to portray Sisko as a very involved father and didn't like the idea of him going to live with wormhole aliens for a potentially long time. So Brooks would probably pick the he returned for the birth of his child ending

Nog's story arc in and out of canon are one of my favorites. Quite the evolution from the petty thief, running nefarious errands for Uncle Quark.

I’ve never liked the idea of Ezri becoming a Captain. I think that she would be better remaining as a Counselor. Not because I have anything against the character; I _like_ Ezri. My problem is that people seem to equate being a Captain with the greatest possible achievement. What little we see of Ezri shows her to be an outstanding Counselor. I have no doubt that she could easily achieve a position as Chief Counselor at any command, and possibly a position at Starfleet Headquarters running the entire Mental Health Division. But then I think the idea that there is only one counselor aboard any vessel or station is ridiculous. Counseling (or Mental Health) should be a section within the Medical Department, answering to the Chief Medical Officer and with the ability to go directly to the CO in certain situations. Their _direct_ counseling responsibilities should be only for the Command Staff (Including the Captain) and possibly special cases that subordinate counselors can’t handle (like, say, Lt Barkley).

I think part of the point I’m trying to make is that having Ezri transfer to the Command Division minimizes the importance of what she does as a Counselor. Keeping her as a Counselor would not only develop the character in a more realistic direction, but it could also be used to develop the canonical structure of Starfleet Medical’s organization.

Need to hear about Garak's future. Considering the far future Federation has a half-Cardassian President, the Cardassian Union obviously went through a lot of changes after the Dominion War. Garak would have been at the forefront.

You got cut off there at the end I'll take it from here. Morn gets caught in a trading deal that goes sideways. Luckily he manages to talk his way out it. But ends up stuck on the Breen home world. Through clever negotiations and quick-witted speech he ends up next to the Breen high Queen. She falls madly in love with him. But it's a hard fault love mainly because she lives in a completely different environment than him. And the story continues.

Wasn't the USS Nog added to Discovery as a tribute to Aron Eisenberg after his unexpected death in 2019. The Nog is said to be an Eisenberg class vessel.

I always pictured Kira having to face the same awkwardness that Cisco did when he was declared the Emissary, because those who worshiped changelings would see her as The Beloved--a madonna-like mortal whose romance with an alienated part of the Founders enabled them, with Odo's reunion, to truly love solids. They were see her as an intercessor and supplicate her for prayers on their behalf.

Shout out to the excellent film, “What We Left Behind, ” where several of the big writers get together and put together the start of a prospective eighth season 20 or so years after DS9. They come up with a very clever premise. Would love to see it realized somehow, someway.

I like that Miles ends up helping the Cardasians recover, a nice end to his ongoing inner conflict regarding the Cardasians war.

Quark went on to opening casinos all across the outback quadrant.
In the first episode of picard. You'll see a scene where it shows on Earth casinos and in the limelight you'll see the name QUARK'S

This and Babylon 5 are the best science fiction series ever made that even now I still watch both on a regular basis... And always will.

Being the first of his species to join Star Fleet then becoming a Captain is reason enough for Nog to have a ship named after him
