How to Use an Append Query in MS Access: mdb to accdb
In this episode, we’re going back to our MS Access playlist and looking at how to use an Append query to append data from one table onto the end of another table. This query is one of the main query types in MS Access, and is extremely handy in many situations. In order to demonstrate this, we’re going to append data from an entirely different database into our current database table. This will also demonstrate how useful Linked Tables are in the MS Access world.

Thank you! this is great! your tutorial answered my questions that I had for a few days! Here I have another challenge of appending two tables. my main table has more number of columns including calculation columns. my new table to add to the main table doesn't have calculated column and less number of columns than the main column.
When I append the new table to the main table, I noticed that the calculated columns returned to empty for the appended rows. Is there any way the calculated column automatically updated to the appended rows? Thank you!!
