Trump and Elon are going to have a MESSY breakup. Mark my words

Surely sooner or later, they're gonna have to actually sell cars right?

It _is_ "as simple as that". Even before Trump's election success 80% of Tesla's value, the company that has been promising operational robotaxis "within a year" for the past 7 years, was based on vaporwere and hopium. Keep the good work Wall Street Millennial!

Ironic a man who's entire wealth is based of government subsidizes got put in charge of cutting spending. Doubt anything that benefits him will be cut, like the stupid EV credit.

Tesla is the only public company I know of where the CEO lies to investors constantly while devoting less and less time to the company and not only doesn't get ousted and sued, but rewarded for it.

You assume Tesla is trustworthy and genuine in the figures they report. Big mistake.

It’s crazy how there is literally a stock to bet on corruption

Tesla has been massively overpriced for years. But the market can maintain being irrational longer than you can remain solvent

Tesla needs to focus on making EVs and not Musk drama.

Yeah and they sent all the cyber trucks to Seattle. As a (not cyber) truck driver in a city, I know the novelty will fade and they'll get sick of driving a big vehicle in tight streets, with small parking spaces.

The nuclear subs are technically electric subs. An on board nuclear reactor generates all the electricity needed by the sub's on board weapons and life support systems.

Ask folks like Pompeo and Giuliani about the long-term effects of hitching their wagon to Trump's.

Thanks for debunking the electric tank myth. Hybrid electric tanks have been around since WW2. There are numerous benefits as you say. From thermal to acoustic performance.

Electric tank is kinda real as army is looking at solid aluminium as fuel. Aluminium would be converted to electricity making tanks aluminium-electric driven similar to diesel-electric. Reason for this is fueltrucks are the weak point of any logistic network, whereas you can shoot aluminium pellets till the cow come home and you don't need special vehicles to move them. This is doable in theory but i haven't heard of even a fullscale prototype so could be 10+ years to never.

I used to be a TSLA investor, and made a lot of money in it. But I had to get out of it last year when they decided to double down on pipe dreams of FSD instead of making a cheaper EV like the Model 2 to compete with all the cheaper competition in markets like China/etc. The stock has become so utterly detached from logic since then. IMO Elon is a poster child example of why just because you're a great CEO when it comes to making successful startups, that doesn't mean that you're a good CEO later in the company's lifespan.

I think there is definitely room for Tesla to benefit because during Trumps first term, Apple CEO Tim Cook also cozied up to Trump and avoided a lot of the damage from the first tariff war and $15M fine from EU regulators. Tim only donated 1M this year towards his inauguration while Musk had 277M across various Republicans so I like Tesla’s odds a little bit more here.

What you said about safety regulations with Tesla hits a strong tie with DOGE, since they're is talking a lot about deregulation. There's gotta be somethin up with that, and consider all the red tape they can move out of the way with regards to Neuralink, Space X, or any other innovative project/company he wants to start up

Tesla will not benefit. Musk will benefit.

Tesla's FSD Technology is not ready. Not yet anyway! It might take another 5 or even 10 years or more to get there! I remain skeptical

Can’t look at Tesla as a car company, it’s a tech company.
