I'm Latina, I've met many Americans who literally ask me "why are your countries such s**t holes", and when I tell them how the US continuously messed with our democracy, they don't believe me, so I thought this part of history wasn't taught in the US. I'm pleasantly surprised by the fact that you are communicating this important facts so eloquently. I hope many students get access to this information, and whenever I'm asked that question again, I'll point them to this video.
