My s22 Ultra performs very similarly to my 12 Pro Max if not better in terms of battery. However with Samsung phones I have noticed the camera and especially video recording completely kills the battery compared to other phones. So if you are doing more casual things like YouTube, browsing internet, social media etc, you can get 8h SOT pretty easy.

Crazy how much the battery life can vary between users. My fiancée has an S22+ and she has zero issue making it through a day. I'll sometimes see her plug in as we're sitting on the couch in the evening maybe around 8 or 9pm. But she easily makes it through a work day

I absolutely LOVE my S22 Ultra. It's the BEST phone on the market hands down. I also have the Iphone 13 pro max and I end up using my S22 ultra MUCH more. I can only use the iphone for about 2 weeks before I get bored to death of it.

The battery dip is due to the high usage of the camera. Taking photos and videos definitely drains the battery way faster than normal usage. As a samsung user myself, this is relatable.

Great vid! As an avid Android user since switching from iPhone back in 2012, I will readily admit that the biggest drawback to switching has been battery life. Unfortunately, that's the nature of a product that is not vertically integrated. The OS can't be optimized for only one combination of hardware pieces. So battery life on a Samsung will likely never be as good as battery life on an iPhone.
