Thank you for this tutorial. I'm currently working with a circle design in Kittl, and was having issues. This explains everything perfectly!

If it's not easy, it is not fun.

it's really a time saver BUT it would a nice feature to add kerning between individual characters too, not for the whole text. In some cases, letters overlap each other and doesn't look good :s

ps. maybe a text to shape feature might be interesting like the illustrator "envelope distort with top object" option :)

1:00 Okay, that's cool, but what if I want the words in the lower part to face outward, mirroring the upper writing? How can I do that? Thanks

Great video! Question: if I wanted to use a completed design by an artist in Kittl 'as is' without changing the colors or anything because I think it already looks good- is that allowed? Or do I still have to make even one change to the original?

Appreciate that you did this... but some, hopefully, helpful feedback for upcoming posts .... I Came here to learn about Kittl, not Illustrator ... would rather have learned how to change the radius of the curve in Kittl than to hear about Illustrator :-)
