I actually couldn’t wait to watch GT it was so epic and cool to see goku become SSJ4 with the help of pan. Such an awesome story. But I love that goku realized that the only way to truly keep earth safe is to leave it with shenron because like what vision said in the captain America civil war movie challenge invites challenge in the end breeding catastrophe.

I really hope they include ss4 at some point in dbs. Maybe Broly could use it because his wrathful form is a human version of a great ape and try to evolve it

Tbh I don't care about the story in dragon ball that much, I still do but if it is bad super is as well.

Honestly I like GT way more than super, While it tried a Bit to hard to mimic Dragon Ball, It still had really cool forms and Good Fights. Ssj4 looks way better than blue, And In some ways Ssj God

Honestly unlike Dbs Dbgt actually had compassion and heart put into the series, and Goku was better treated/had better development in gt too

To be honest, GT goku feels more real and Canon than Super. Because Goku is based on Sun Wukong, yes? And Sun Wukong, not only can turn into a big or (Golden)giant Ape, but his base(?) form has a monkey like features, like furs all over his body and and looks like Monkey or ape and stuff, something that GT Goku as a SSJ4 looks like. So, for me, GT Goku is more accurate and Canon than DBS Goku who abandoned his tail.

If GT is bad then super is just as bad, if not more. At least GT had actually compelling character arcs and a meaningful story. Some of the arcs aren’t good, but it’s way more enjoyable and faithful to the original anime than super is imo. I suggest watching it in Japanese, the dub butchered it for some reason
