No you do not release the names of people you are investigating. One reason is that, being investigated is not the same as being charged, it's not even the same as being accused, so you have to protect the identities of these people, lest you violate their civil rights and thereby invalidate the investigation should charges be brought and the case thrown out of court. Stupid question.
