This reminds me of something I’ve never been able to figure out. I’ve worked on cars, lifts, tractors, on and off for about 30 years. It doesn’t matter what the vehicle is, I’ll put a filter on hand tight. But when I change it again later, it’s not coming off without a tool 😂 I have yet to figure out why 😂

I got mine from MAC cheaper. It works great for those stubborn ones but it’ll tear into old filters easily.

The plier style cost 20 bucks and has no hidden latches or buttons

Where are people finding oil filters they can put these things on? I’ve never once owned a vehicle I could use on of these on. I swear to god an engineer’s wife ran off with a lube tech.

I got mine from MAC tools, used it quite a bit then got a filter plier from harbor freight. I pick it every time.
