love the reels look nice and the numbers on the clutch is a great idea. Will be getting me a set.

Nice feature to have the 'fixed spool', but it would also be very useful to have one with a 'free spool' feature, to be able to use for marker work. I use one reel body and move it between spools, rods and set up's for either spodding or marker work. Food for thought Avid, make a 'free spool' spool for your spod reel.

I think that Spod reel is quite heavy for spodding. 680g

Like the Avid gear, but I wasn't impressed with the reels.

Useless without clutch..
I use the same reels for spodding and marker work..
No it is a no go for me for this reel..
