Mexican here! (Natlan is part-based on Nahuatls/mexicas which are from México)

Mavuika earrings are based on the Nahuatl glyph that simbolizes the fifth sun, It also happens to have 8 points in Genshin's interpretation.

The mavuika thing is a bit creepy but it isn’t uncommon for innocent symbols to be turned into much worse things. It could be that those guys originate from Natlan. Or it really could just be as simple as “many different groups have symbols representing the sun that are important to them and these two groups happened to pick the same symbol.”

Maybe Chasca is like a member of the crimson moon bloodline but her blood is thinner than Arlecchino’s. So her curse is weaker so only her nails turned black. Like how Kaeya isn’t affected by the curse since his bloodline has gotten a lot thinner.

Also important factor I just noticed. It was said that The Crimson Moon Dynasty was replaced by The Dark Sun. Likely during the cataclysm 500 years ago. The important factor here is Dark Sun? Mavuika having the sun patterns is suspicious. Especially the fact you mentioned how Ororon has patterns similar to unknown god.

Chaska seems to just be wearing gloves, since her thumb and index finger are normal, and you can see the edge of the glove material at the base of her thumb. Like it’s slightly raised rather than her skin just being that color like Arlecchino’s. Only weird part is that you can still see the nails on the three fingers covered by the glove, but animators/character designers sometimes just like to do that because they can’t decide between cool nails and cool gloves.
