For everyone referring to their strengths, the MCU is very different than the comics. All the really strong characters (Thor, Hulk, Spider-Man) are watered down a bit. All the weaker characters (Cap, Falcon, Black Widow) are amped up a bit. MCU Cap is leagues stronger than his comic book counterpart. He’s supposed to be “peak human” but he is well into the superhuman category with his on screen feats.

I love this because you can clearly tell that Spider Man is physically stronger than Cap. That is evident in the fact that he’s able to hold both of his arms back.
But Cap having the superior military training knows how to use that strength against him. So instead of trying to resist, he uses the same momentum to put Spidey off balance.

Yeah, you can say that Cap figured that Peter was strong enough to catch the.. loading bridge? Whatever, the big metal thing. And you can also maybe say that Cap believed that Peter would be quick enough to catch it. But what if Peter wasn’t fast enough to catch it? Or not strong enough? Cap just committed Attempted murder on like, a 14 year old, that’s crazyyy 😂
