New Holland CR11 UK, world record breaker in the making?

This video is about the New Holland CR11.
It also features John Deeres & JCB 4220's corn carting which kicks in after a few minutes and then some really nice clips of unloading the CR11's mammoth 20,000 litre grain tank on the move.

So don’t miss some of the best bits by only watching the great close ups of the CR11 as the panoramic distance shots show the area it is working in beautifully.

I couldn't get my usual high altitude panoramic shots because the wind was really blowing and averaging over 20mph with gusts nicely above that so I was more than impressed with how the new DJI Air3 handled these cross winds.
If I hadn't invested in this new drone there is no way I could have filmed that day with my old Air2 as it just wasn't heavy enough.

Back to the filming.

This beast of a combine has a 15.9-litre, six-cylinder Cursor 16 engine producing 775 horse power.

The CR11 used its 50 foot MacDon header and some of its 775 horse power to chew through the crop of Winter Barley with next to no losses and in such a decent crop, it really was impressive.

This video shows the CR11 working well but not under much pressure even with a mammoth 50 feet header.

If New Holland do try to beat the own 8 hour world harvesting record which they set way back in 2014 with a CR 10.90, then this is surely the machine to break it with.

Many thanks go to Stephen Loughnane of New Holland, Will Jones of Albanwise and in particular Richard Smith & Will Wainwright of R.D.Webster. Thanks to everyone else involved in setting up the day.

What the world needs is a combine that isn't worn out after 2500 separator hours.

Great video, thank you for posting. I thought our Claas Dominator was big in the mid 1970s at 17 FT cut, that one is very nice. P.S. Dad did not take it well if you didn't take a full 17' cut.

The latest macdon type headers are a step change forward for combine output efficiency through. Not only that, at 61’ we can take full advantage of controlled traffic and greatly reduced soil damage from wheelings.

Lot of flex in that header when in lifted position, just don’t look right 😮

Was watching something similar in America about three or four weeks ago with a fifty foot header.

Not so long ago a 30ft header was massive. Makes you wonder how much bigger machines will actually get.

Now that is one impressive machine with an equally impressive price tag.
I wonder how many years finance you would have to take it over and what would the annual insurance premium be as it's not the kind of thing you want to have go up in flames in a field some day.

I wonder, Can this machine used for harvest sorghum and grain corn?

Doesn't mater what the combine colour is. the largest combines is all about the big three . quality of grain sample, losses over the back and tons per hour. Any info on that

I'm thinking there must be a hell of a weight in the unloading arm yet it looks like it could be shorter which woukd obviously save strain on where it attaches to the body of the combine? Not claiming to be an expert, just saying what im seeing and others views on it?

Why aren’t they using full header width? Missing 2 ft each time

Nice pictures but some information about the crop yield and throughput would be nice.
However why are you not using all of the front your wasting about 2 feet, why ?
And, why are you driving over so many previous runs already harvested, have you not heard of doing a skip run so the auger is over a previously harvested run for emptying ?
