They'll deliberately misinterpret everything Starmer says.
I spoke to a Reform voter the other day that was adamant Starmer had admitted that high migration was a deliberate attempt to replace the current UK population. What he was referring to was when Starmer said that the tories had adopted an open border policy after brexit, because it was easier than doing things the hard way, like ensuring Brits have the skills we need.
Starmer saying they were being lazy and shortsighted became Starmer saying the replacement hypothesis was correct.
They can twist anything and its almost always paranoid and deranged.

I think going after Jess Phillips will turn out to be a mistake. I've seen her in a lot of interviews today and not only does she come across well but you can tell female interviewers in particular are instinctively on her side. The sort of nastiness used by the right in America won't work here. We don't like it.
