Got wrong one & was so annoyed, longer was hard to find. Helped my recovery when I was stuck inside- Hamlet & KB in Othello with brilliant Laurence Fishburne. Hope Venice is good.

The fact that Kenneth even managed to get that film made is a remarkable testament to his own tenacity and what was possible in the film business in the 1990's.
It is THE best Hamlet ever shot on film and I'll make a ghost of he who says otherwise.

I actually saw Brannagh's Hamlet in the theaters back in the day and loved every single second of it. I dont need to pretend i saw it, i DID SAW IT where it was intended to be seen. Yeah! Does that makes my life better for it? Not at all. Still the same loser, as then as now.
