i have no idea whats happening - 31 edo improvisation

A short microtonal improv composition made in FL Studio 24 using a weird bell thing and 31 edo

I think the hardest part was by far trying to play 31 tet on a normal 12 tet keyboard (⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠)(⁠╥⁠﹏⁠╥⁠) it was so hard to get used to and still is really weird hahaha

I have to say it sounded better than anticipated lmao. Also the best instruments to play microtonal music on are pad controllers, because you can map the notes in however way you want without being hindered by the morphology of 12-edo temperament pianos. The coolest ones I saw had hexagonal pads arranged in a tessellation pattern, that way every pad is equidistant from its adjacents; which in turn makes pattern recognition more effective with basically any n-edo temperament you choose.
